Sourdough Christmas Tree Treats

Ingredients:
Cake:
120g flour
60g sourdough discard
15g cornstarch
125g granulated sugar
6g salt
113g softened butter
2 eggs + 1 egg yolk
4g baking powder
6g vanilla
90g milk
Filling:
100g fluff
75g butter
100g powdered sugar
4g vanilla
Topping:
12oz almond bark
Red icing
Green sanding sugar
Recipe:
1.) Preheat oven to 350° and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
2.) Cream butter with sugar. Add vanilla and discard, then eggs. Add in all dry ingredients alternating with milk until combined.
3.) Bake cake for 20 minutes then cool completely on a wire rack.
4.) Mix filling. Cut cake into equal sized trees using a cookie cutter. Spead filling in between two then place them into the refridgerator to chill for 30 minutes.
5.) Melt almond bark and dip filled trees into it. Decorate with sanding sugar and red icing. Place back in refridgerator to set.
6.) Once set, remove from refridgerator and serve at room temperature.
